Musical Theatre
- âHadestownâ by AnaĂŻs Mitchell. A sung-through American folk-inspired emotional journey. It won 8 Tony Awards and theyâre all deserved.
- Everything by Dave Malloy, but particularly âNatasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812â, âPreludesâ and âThree Housesâ.
- Shaina Taubâs Musicals. She has a fantastic orignal musical called âSuffsâ that won two Tony awards for Best Book of a Musical and Best Original Score, and two musicals based on Shakespeare Plays: âTwelfth Nightâ and âAs You Like Itâ.
Apps/Tools
- Obsidian and Notion for note-taking.
- Beeper for combining all my messaging apps, which makes it much easier to keep track of conversations.
- Readwise Reader for reading articles and books and subscribing to newsletters because it allows easy note-taking and highlights.
- Super Productivity for task management. It has scheduling, time tracking, categories, boards. Everything I need.
- Airtable for anything that requires storing large amounts of data that should be accessible to non-technical people.
Technology
- Ruby on Rails - Still the most developer-friendly web framework out there.
- astro.build - What I used for this website. Light and simple.
- Kamal - Massively simplify your deployments.
- Omakub - Great developer setup for Ubuntu 24.04+]
